Adding a Health Alert
To add a health alert for a student, follow the steps below.
1. Go to the Student detail page for the student you are trying to add the alert for.
2. Select the pencil next to Alerts at the top of the page, this will take you to the Health Alerts page for that student.
3. From the student's Health Alerts page you can see a student's current alerts, past alerts, and add alerts.
4. To add an alert you must fill out the medical alert code.
5. you may also add medical alert comments as well as a start and end date. You cannot add a start date for the Medical Alert that is in the future. If you enter an end date for the medical alert it will be removed from the student's detail card and the student's detail page and moved to the History of Alerts after that date provided.
6. Once you are finished please select the save button. This will save the alert and it will show up on the student detail page as well as the student information card.
