How to check Ed Fi data syncs in Infinite Campus

Purpose: This article is intended to help SIS coordinators and those who access in Infinite Campus, check if a student has errors or data not syncing with Ed FI.


To check a student specific Ed Fi syncs in Infinite Campus.

  1. Log into IC and select the student you would like to view. From the Person Information page you can select the Ed-Fi data tab on the right of the page (if you have access).

  1. from the Ed Fi data page select the configured sync, which should coordinate with the school year you are trying to view data for.

  1. Next Select the Resource you are trying to view. To view contact information you can select "Student Parent Associations"  

  1. Select the Compare button at the bottom of the page.

  1. The report will give 2 columns. The column on the right will indicate what data in currently in Infinite Campus. The Column on the left will indicate the data that is flowing through Ed Fi. If these 2 columns match and you are still not seeing the data in DSC Please reach out to out Help Desk. In the ticket please explain that you have already gone through this procedure.


  1. If the data does not match between Infinite Campus and Ed Fi, the rows of unmatched data will be highlighted. In this instance, it is very likely the student requires a Ed Fi resync.

  1. If there are errors indicated in the errors box at the bottom of the page, those errors must first be addressed, then it is likely a resync will be required.
