Immunizations uploading from EdFi

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to explain the data flow for student immunizations.

Student immunization data will come into Ed Fi from Delvax. Health Accounting will upload the immunization data that is in Ed Fi nightly and use this data to update the immunization record below the students compliance chart, as well as the students compliance chart.

Please note, if a nurse manually alters a record we will skip all new upload for this specific record.

For example: A student has record from DelVax a DTap immunization record that is is dated before the students birthday. The nurse can go into the compliance chart and delete the incorrect DTap record and replace it with the correct date. The next time the data is uploaded from DelVax, we will skip the DTap record.

This upload will happen nightly so students records will be updated nightly.
