2. Scroll down to the section of the student detail page for Medications.

3. Select the "Add" button next to "Controlled Medication Inventory"

4. Select the Medication and dosage you would like to add for this student from the dropdown.

5. If the medication and/or dosage you are trying to enter can not be found in the list you can add them by selecting "Add New Medication or Dosage". Note: it is suggested you use a medication and dosage from the dropdown whenever possible. Adding multiple medications/dosages to the system will make it cluttered and difficult to find medications in the dropdown for you and your colleagues in the future.

6. Select add or subtract from the dropdown. Adding will add medication to the inventory and subtract will remove medication from the inventory. Note: if you subtract more medication that is in the system or subtract inventory from a medication that isn't currently in the system a negative count will show.

7. Enter the amount of the medication you are adding to the system in the field provided. Note: This field is used to add the specific amount of the dosage you are adding. Example: if you would like to add Abilify (5mg) to your inventory and you would like to add 10 doses of Abilify (5mg), you will select Abilify (5 mg) for the medication and you would add 10 to the amount field. You WOULD NOT add 50 to the amount field.

8. Add a comment (not required). If there is a comment you would like to add about the specific medication you can add it here and it will show up whenever the medication is presented.

9. Once you have filled out all of the appropriate fields you can select the save button and the medication will be saved to a student's inventory. If you don't wish to save the medication inventory select the cancel button.

Any medication administered through the system will automatically be removed from the student's inventory. If you need to add or subtract medication to the student's inventory you can accomplish that from this screen by selecting the add button next to the medication or selecting the medication and dosage you wish to add/subtract from the dropdown. Then use the +/- field and amount field to add or subtract the desired amount of medication. If the medication in the medication field is identical to the medication and dosage you are trying to add/subtract, it will add/subtract it from the current inventory.
